The "HIT" colours of the Spring/Summer 2017 season

This season, our wardrobe will be under the sign of cheerfulness! Bright, cheerful colours like sunny yellow or lavender blue will enhance your wardrobe. Lilac and Klein blue are our main colours, while fruity orange and mimosa will liven things up for a sixties look.

Fresh, airy tones are a must for a sophisticated, elegant silhouette. Soft, pastel pink and pure, natural white through to taupe and khaki bring softness and simplicity to a poetic, bohemian look.

Emerald green, sharp and refined, will continue to seduce, warming up the chilly temperatures at the start of the year!

A closer look at the fashion trends for 2017

Four major trends are making their appearance on the catwalks and in the streets!

Timeless and comfortable, streetwear is an everyday ally. Alexander Wang, Chanel and Isabel Marant are turning streetwear into an It, personifying it with side caps and a 100% sporty chic silhouette. The neo-jogging style is making a dramatic entrance, as in the Cargo Pant,in baggy, airy or ankle-length versions; as a top, the bomber, already adopted in 2016, is being given a twist with lace and floral prints, as is the short parka. Leggings, with their graphic cut-outs, can also be seen on your legs!

The slightly bohemian Sixties trend is still going strong. Gypset" silhouettesfeature flowers or psychedelic motifs. For an assured sixties look, opt for light blouses, ponchos and flared dresses, always embellished with a large handbag and dozens of jewels. At Elora, we were all about prints back in 2016 with Japanese motifs, feathers or colourful palms.

More surprisingly, the pyjama trend trend is the big fashion surprise of 2017! Night trousers are taking their place in the daytime, accompanied by comfortable lamé tank tops. Made from noble, silky materials, these delicate trousers are adorned with "Wall Paper" flowers. We're even going for a total look with a short jacket and matching trousers! A revolution!

Finally, the timeless 'Rock' trendis still going strong. Beautiful and rebellious, these silhouettes swear by black, which is delicate here. Fishnet, lace, lamé and studs add nuance to the silhouette, worn over little jackets, bombers or leather perfectos. A testament to a femininity that is both assertive and rebellious, the "punk" spirit counterbalances the "Baby Doll" trend with sophistication and sobriety. The timeless little black dress is still a hit: more feminine than ever, it's the unanimous choice at Elora!
