Our materials
more responsible
Continuous progress
In order to take care of our planet, we select materials with a low environmental footprint. Recycled materials, recyclable materials, materials that require fewer resources: every season, we take action to offer you collections that have less and less impact on the environment. Our commitment is to enable you to buy clothes that limit the effects of the textile industry on nature.
Responsible cotton
Responsible cotton has a dual objective: to reduce its environmental impact, but also to improve livelihoods and economic development in the areas where it is produced.
Recycled polyester
Polyester textiles are generally shunned by ethical fashion followers because of the pollution generated by this material. Our polyester is made from plastic waste and recycled fibres. As a result, dependence on oil and environmental impact are considerably reduced. The advantage of polyester garments is that they can be washed in cold water and dried quickly. As a result, they consume less energy to maintain.
Clothes made from recycled polyamide
The polyamide we use is made from a selection of waste materials. As with polyester, using recycled polyamide helps to reduce dependence on the planet's non-renewable resources. By saving water and energy, and reducing CO2 emissions and waste, recycled polyamide contributes to a more sustainable environment more responsible fashion. Garments made from recycled polyamide are stretchy, strong and almost crease-resistant, making them more practical for everyday use. The polyamide used in textiles is nylon.
Durable viscose
Produced from FSC or PEFC certified sustainable forest plantations, viscose fibres minimise environmental impact. Artificial fibre produced from natural fibres such as cellulose derived from wood.
Cupro
An artificial cellulose fibre, cupro is produced from natural, plant-based materials, including cotton. Cupro makes clothes feel very soft, similar to silk. This material also has the virtue of being thermo-regulating and anti-perspirant.
Linen: plant material
A natural plant material, linen is recyclable and needs no pesticides or irrigation to grow. Linen is the ideal combination of lightness and strength. It is also absorbent and hypoallergenic.
Lyocell
Have you ever heard of lyocell? Artificial cellulose fibre produced from wood from sustainably managed forests, clothes are more responsible.
Initiatives and labels to guarantee the quality of our clothes
ELORA offers you eco-responsible clothingwe're committed to the environment, and we're taking a number of steps to ensure that we're truly environmentally aware and that the needs of the planet are taken into account in the manufacture of our clothes.
PETA
Animal suffering is one of our main concerns. That's why, in agreement with PETA, a non-profit organisation that defends animal rights, we have decided to remove all Mohair from our clothes and no longer use it.
Thanks to the use of eco-responsible materials and the implementation of concrete actions for the environment, we do everything we can to offer you clothes that are as environmentally friendly as possible. This means you can buy a wardrobe that reflects your values, and that respects the planet and your health. Our clothes are also ethical, and we are committed to these causes on a daily basis.
