At Elora, we're keen to keep abreast of all the latest trends, whether they relate to developments in society, fashion or digital! We know that consumers - and internet users in general - expect a lot from brands: commitment, transparency, personalised messages and original, relevant content. That's why we've been thinking about how we can work better with influencers, by embarking on a process of co-creation! Laura Lewiss, a fashion and lifestyle influencer on Instagram, whom we met at our last influencer event in Lyon, is the first to try this experiment with us! She put together three outfits based on her favourite pieces from the Elora Autumn Winter 2019 collection and posed for us during an afternoon shoot. She also talked to us about her relationship with fashion and influence in a short interview, which you can watch below!

Can you tell us more about your passion for fashion? And how would you define your style?

"I've always loved fashion, and have done ever since I was a little girl! When I was younger, I loved modelling by parading around in my own clothes or those of my mother, I couldn't wait to try on my costumes for my dance galas and I had fun deciphering the looks of my favourite stars for inspiration. Then I wanted to become a model to be part of this world that I adulated through fashion magazines.

As far as my clothing style is concerned, it's like me: very changeable. I don't think I can define it very precisely, because I love clothes too much to limit myself to a single style, but I like to dress in a feminine, casual way, with a bohemian touch. I observe trends, which are an inexhaustible source of ideas, to redefine and reinvent my looks ad infinitum"

What is your relationship with influence? How did you start your business, how do you manage your time, what are your future plans?

"For me, Instagram represents the combination of two of my passions: fashion and photography.

I started by sharing images from my photo shoots, then I moved on to more fashion-oriented content, talking about the brands I love and showcasing clothes through pretty pictures.

It's an activity that requires a lot of time and commitment, which I sometimes miss because I have to juggle studies and work. I think I've finally found the right daily balance and rhythm to devote myself fully to it.

I'd like to talk about fashion, trends and suggest looks, but I'd also like to develop a whole lifestyle section and tackle themes that are close to my heart, such as ecology and well-being... To be continued!

Can you tell us a few words about Elora and give us some feedback on our collaboration?

"It's a beautiful brand that's concerned about the environment and committed on many levels, which is what appealed to me straight away! The collections are very well thought-out: always chic and sober. The clothes are of excellent quality, easy to wear and adapt, at the cutting edge of trends, and reflect the brand's DNA: elegance in every situation.

It was a real pleasure to work with Elora and her team, who are very committed to the brand's development and curious to try out new things, like our collaboration on this shoot: it was a great experience!

We also really enjoyed working with Laura on this shoot, and we hope to take things even further in the next collaboration!
