Fashion Week Spring-Summer 2020

After Strasbourg and Rome, Elora chose Amsterdam as the venue for one of its two annual fashion shows, in a large concert hall near Amsterdam harbour that had been converted for the occasion. On Sunday 15 December, our teams landed at Schipol airport to prepare for the following day's fashion show, one of the most important moments of the year for the whole company! For several years now, Elora has been striving to organise exceptional fashion shows in the four corners of Europe at every event, in order to offer the best possible experience to its Personal Stylists, as a fitting thank you for their work and their sincere attachment to the brand. These three days are also an opportunity for us to spend some precious and enriching time with our Personal Stylists, to get to know them better and to celebrate with them! Our conferences always end with a gala evening at a venue specially reserved by Elora.

Amsterdam Fashion Week

The day of the fashion show began with the models getting their hair and make-up done, followed by a morning of fittings to make any final changes needed to ensure the event ran smoothly. Those of you in the know were able to follow the backstage and the highlights of the show on Instagram (stories still online here).

We then shot a video with the models (which we hope will surprise you!) before moving on to the rehearsals.

5.30pm: Let the show begin!

Virginie, a regular at the Elora shows, opened the show in a total poppy look, earning instant applause from our Personal Stylists. The silhouettes then followed one another for an hour, revealing the major trends for Spring-Summer 2020!

The show concluded with a presentation of the company's commitments and future projects (notably around Elora Green), followed by the showing of the season's videos, and finally the customary awards ceremony for the Personal Stylists, hosted by Elora's Managing Director, Yves Duplatre, and his regional directors.

The cruise has fun in Amsterdam

Our stylist/model team took advantage of Tuesday to explore the city's small clothing boutiques, with the aim of spotting the next trends! As for the Personal Stylists, after a free day, they met up at 8pm at the foot of the hotel to board the Ocean Diva for an evening cruise on the waters of Amsterdam and party the night away!

Elora would like to thank its Personal Stylists for their energy and for all the excellent moments spent in their company, and look forward to seeing them again in June for the next fashion show!
