A leading association
/Founded in 2003, the Ruban Rose association is a not-for-profit organisation that fights breast cancer, the leading cause of cancer deaths among women.
The Association has 2 missions:
- /Breast cancer awareness and prevention: 1 woman in 8 is affected by breast cancer. If caught early, there is a 99% chance of survival in 5 years. It is for these reasons that the Pink Ribbon association is mobilising, informing and raising the awareness of as many people as possible. Its flagship action takes place during "Pink October", the massive national awareness-raising campaign, relayed each year by more and more players.
- /Supporting and funding research: Over the past 20 years, the Pink Ribbon Association has donated more than 6 million euros to 88 scientific projects and associations via its Pink Ribbon Awards. This makes it a major player in the world of breast cancer research.

Elora's commitment
Elora's support for women affected by breast cancer is a long-term commitment. In 2019, Elora became a partner and official textile supplier of the Challenge du Ruban Rose, an association that organises walks and runs to raise awareness of early detection of breast cancer.

Preventing breast cancer
Recognising this, the association has taken up the challenge of spreading the message about breast cancer prevention and the benefits of physical activity as widely as possible.
To this end, it organises events and funds awareness campaigns and, where possible, funds new resources and research programmes to improve screening performance.
The Pink Ribbon association is providing an information kit to raise awareness of the importance of self-palpation and regular check-ups with a doctor, midwife or gynaecologist.

In 2025, Elora is strengthening its commitment by becoming a patron of the charity Ruban Rose.
Every year, during Pink October, we relay the various awareness-raising campaigns to our network of 1,300 fashion consultants and our thousands of customers.
With its Elora Pink T-shirt, Elora is helping to raise awareness of early detection and prevention of breast cancer.
